Fall is finally here in the Carolina’s, the weather is slightly cooler, and I’m already pulling out and organizing my fall wardrobe. My favorite thing about autumn is the wardrobe, the latte’s, the coats, tweeds, houndstooth blazers, and finally the Camo.
Being a northern girl raised in the South ( aka a G.R.I.T), I’ve developed an affinity for camouflage. Yes, that’s right — I’ve been bitten by the camo bug, and it’s quickly becoming one of my go-to’s for my Fall wardrobe. To date, I’ve bought two Camo jackets & have worn them with weekend looks, to church, out with the girls, to the fair, AND to the office. Which is why The Camo Jacket is the next piece in my “Falling into Autumn Series: Your Guide to an Effortless Fall Wardrobe.”
It’s the Camo Jacket versatility that makes it the perfect #transitional piece for Autumn, especially with the cooler temps finally arriving. I love pairing Camo with black, but it works with denim as well. You can pair this jacket a few ways:
- With a Black t-shirt dress & peep-toe booties
- With Skinny jeans or Boyfriend Jeans and Booties
- With Black leather leggings and peep-toe booties
- With your favorite jeans and kicks!
As you can tell my favorite shoe to pair this jacket & a lot of my autumn picks are booties. I just can’t get enough of them. Why? Because they’re sexy, comfortable, and who doesn’t love a good black bootie? #outfitversatility
These are just a few suggestions, but the great thing about style is that you can make it your own! So don’t be afraid to switch up the shoes, add your favorite brooch, or even add a pop of color. I’ll definitely be mixing and remixing this jacket for my #Weekend looks.
I love this time of year because of fall fashion, fall scented candles, football season, cozy sweaters, homecoming, and the oh so perfect caramel latte. I’m so looking forward to having some downtime and working on new content this week.
As Always loves, I hope you love this look & make it your own! I’ve tagged all my outfit details below & a few of my favorite Camo jackets.
