Cheers to the Bride: My Bridal Shower
It’s amazing how time flies, and as I’m writing this my wedding day is exactly four days away! This season is my life has been such a joy! The level of love & support for my fiancé from friends and family to my #IDoCrew, are unmatched. One of my absolute favorite parts was the amazing Bridal Shower thrown by my Maid of Honor and my bridesmaids!!
The French Picnic ( pique-unique français)
They hosted the shower at my home on a Saturday with a French theme in tow! With safety in mind, we chose to have individual picnic lunches that included treats from a local bakery, pimento cheese from Diprato’s, fresh fruit cups, sandwiches from a local deli, and my favorite part the cookies & macaroons, all with fresh made mimosas. I’m a foodie, and especially when it comes to French confections, tarts, and macarons. In fact, I featured my favorite French bakery in an older post here, so check it out! Okay so, beyond the menu the decor was phenomenal and organized all by my #iDoCrew!
My favorite parts were all the French details: from the striped linens, the gilded framed pictures of Travis and I, French picnic menu, the Paris backdrop, and the “ooh la la & Eiffel Tower themed cookies and macaroons. Last but not least, the balloon installation created by my Maid of Honor! Listen, if you need a balloon installation done for your next shower or event, contact me & I’ll put you all in touch!
Details: My outfit & makeup
When it comes to details, every little bit counts, especially as the bride! I adored every detail of the day, especially my makeup and my outfit! I have the best makeup artist so follow @ElevatedbySierra. One of my signatures is adding a dose of #everydayglam to every look whether it’s my outfit or my makeup. In fact, if my face is professional done for photos, events or blog shoots, then she did it! Last but not least, I was in love with my outfit: ivory jumpsuit wassss everything, incredibly sexy, comfortable & I paired it with my fool-proof favorite heel. I’ve tagged all the details here: jumpsuit & heels,
Beyond my #idocrew my friends & family really showed out & showed up for my shower ! It really was one of the sweetest days, and the French theme was executed to perfection.
