Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the weekends in 2021 felt like micro weekends ??!!😩 I need the weekend to last a bit longer & extend AT LEAST through Tuesday lol— let’s do that & call it a #Sweek😂. • Sometimes you just have to stop + choose gratitude. 🕊 Honey, when I tell you the last two months have been full of reasons & things to complain about, and everything that could happen seemed to happen ALL at once? 🙇🏽‍♀️ From feeling behind in some of my #gradschool work📚 , wedding planning 👰🏽 , time constraints, travel + commitments, plus feeling like I didn’t have my work-life balance on lock. It was a lot sis + I’m not even listing it all!🥴
• Have y’all ever experienced that feeling of having too much to do & not enough time to do it in???🥴 I HAVE 🙋🏽‍♀️...
• But instead of focusing only on ALL of that, I chose to not stress & focus on the fact that I also have equally if not MORE, reasons to be grateful!🕊

• So last month + this month, I’ve been intentional about starting/ ending the day with five things I’m grateful for... today even though the day isn’t over I already have 3️⃣✨ :

1️⃣ I’m grateful for my mother— her wisdom, her words, and the grace she imparts is unmatched ✨
2️⃣ I’m grateful for friends I can call + count on, that are consistent.✨
3️⃣ I’m grateful to God, first, foremost, and always —- I would be no one + nothing without his grace + favor + love .✨
